Glen Eden Beach Resort is where lifelong memories are made. With direct beach access, spacious accommodation and a strong commitment to sustainability, it’s the perfect retreat for families, couples and adventurers alike.
For Hamish, Glen Eden Beach Resort has always been special. Childhood holidays here created happy memories. Years later, after a global hospitality career, he returned – not as a guest, but as the owner and resort manager.
Now, alongside his family, Hamish & Jess are dedicated to sharing that same joy and connection with every visitor.
Glen Eden Beach Resort has been recognised for its outstanding management and guest experience, with industry awards and glowing guest reviews reflecting our commitment to making every stay unforgettable.
As a locally owned and operated resort, we’re dedicated to protecting what makes Peregian Beach so special so you can enjoy it now and for years to come (just like us!). Plus, we do good-for-the-planet stuff in a way that’s good for you too – chemical-free cleaning, fresh ocean air and plenty of green space.
One of the standout features of Glen Eden Beach Resort is direct beach access to north Peregian Beach – no roads to cross, just a 2-minute stroll through a tunnel of trees. In fact, we are one of the only beachfront resorts between Sunshine Beach and Mooloolaba.
Known to locals as one of the ‘open beaches’, our patch of beach is part of a stunning 13 km-stretch of coastline, extending from Sunshine Beach to Coolum Beach.
The beach is patrolled on weekends during summer and daily throughout school holidays (except winter). It directly faces east, so it’s a wonderful place to watch the sunrise in the morning, and the moon rise in the evenings.
Our beach is also home to some very special animals like wallabies, dolphins and the rare Glossy Black-Cockatoo.
Whale season is June - November. During this time we see many humpback whales travelling up and then back down the coast, right past the front of the resort. Keep your eyes open for their tell-tale spray and if you’re lucky, you’ll even see one breach.
Turtle season at Peregian Beach is November - March. Spectacular female loggerhead and green turtles come ashore and lay eggs on the dunes out the front of our resort, so we ask you to be careful if you visit during these times. If you’re excited at the prospect of seeing turtles, come have a chat to us at reception and we can connect you with local groups who organise supervised sightings.
From cabanas to surfboards to yoga mats, we offer gear hire to enhance your stay. Just ask at reception, and we’ll set you up with everything you need. We also have Glen Eden Beach Resort merchandise available. Visit us at reception to see what you can take home.
