Terms and Conditions

1. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, "The Promoter" refers to Glen Eden Beach Resort whose Instagram handle is @glen_eden_beach_resort. The "Prize" refers to Prize Details (One (1) weekday stay for 2 people for 2 nights at our beachfront resort plus one (1) $100 dining voucher for Pitchfork Restaurant).
2. By entering the competition you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. All entries must be received by 12:00AM on 04/09/2023. One (1) winner in Australia (will be selected at random by The Promoter on 04/09/2023 and the winner will be notified on or after this date. ​
3. The Promotors competitions with entry via Instagram and/or Facebook are open only to residents of Australia. One (1) winner will be chosen at random from all entrants and across all platforms. The winner can nominate another guest to redeem the prize together. No purchase necessary. Winners will not be required to pay to enter the competition. Entrants must be over 18 years old on the date of their entry.
4. Employees/Contractors of The Promoter are not eligible to enter. Instagram or Facebook are not in any way affiliated or involved in the competition. Each entrant shall enter the competition via Instagram by tagging another Instagram user in the comments of the specified post by @YourInstagramHandle and following this Instagram profile.
5. The Prize will be awarded to a randomly selected winner who has entered on Instagram, using a random number generator. The Promoter will not be held liable if the named prize becomes unavailable or cannot be fulfilled. The Promoter will not be help liable for any failure of receipt of entries. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid. To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Promoter’s liability under or in connection with the competition or these terms and conditions shall be limited to the cost price of the Prize in question.
6. To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Promoter shall not be liable under or in connection with these terms and conditions, the competition or any Prize for any indirect, special or consequential cost, expense, loss or damage suffered by a participant even if such cost, expense, loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable or might reasonably have been contemplated by the participant and the promoter and whether arising from breach of contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise. Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available.
7. Where a Prize becomes unavailable for any reason, the promoter reserves the right to substitute that prize for a prize of equal or higher value. The name, address, email address and phone number of the winner must be provided to The Promoter if requested and will be shared to enable fulfilment of the Prize.​ In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond The Promoter’s reasonable control, the promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition or these terms and conditions, either in whole or in part, with or without notice. The Promoter's decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into. The winner’s name and social media username may be posted on the social media profiles of The Promotor after the winner has been selected.
8. The Prize of this competition cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash or any other form of credit or travel services.
9. Notification and claiming the Prize. The Winner will be drawn at random from the pool of entries. Following the Prize draw, the winner will be notified using the contact details provided by the Entrant. If for any reason the winner is unable to claim the Prize, the Prize will be withdrawn.
10. The stay is subject to availability at Glen Eden Beach Resort and block-out dates include all school holidays. Travel must be concluded by 30/11/2023. Guests must check-in during weekdays. Vouchers for Pitchfork Restaurant and The Heart of Beauty must be redeemed by this date. 
11. The Winner is responsible to cover charges to arrive at the resort including rental car booking or air fares. The prize cannot be applied to any additional costs associated with changes or cancellations to the original booking requested by the Winner.
12. There is no residual value and no credit will be issued if the booking amount is less than the amount of the prize.
13. The Winner may add services or stay additional nights; however, the Winner is responsible for arranging their additional extras including the payment of any additional costs.
14. Any additional services or products added to the stay including, without limitation, charges will be payable by at Glen Eden Beach Resort these charges must be paid at the time the reservation is confirmed or to the resort directly and are the responsibility solely of the Winner.
15. The prize cannot be applied to any costs or miscellaneous fees charged by the Airline and incurred by the Winner.
16. Terms and conditions of this offer are as written and cannot be changed by any representation of any unauthorized person. 
17. Once a date for your booking has been confirmed, Glen Eden Beach Resort takes no responsibility for costs incurred for cancellation or change of booking. To change or cancel your booking, you must contact Glen Eden Beach Resort and any fees applicable must be paid directly to the property.
18. If your booking is cancelled as a result of a force major event and Glen Eden Beach Resort is unable to re-accommodate an alternative booking, the prize will be forfeited and Glen Eden Beach Resort is not liable to replace the prize, compensate the Winner for the cancellation or for any loss or damage incurred by the Winner, or their partner/guest, including but not limited to loss in connection with travel/flight arrangements associated with the booking. A major event could be, but is not limited to an earthquake, cyclone, flood, fire, industrial disputes, delays in transportation, or as a result of COVID19 restrictions imposed on travel to or from the destination.
