Burger by the beach
Everybody loves burgers - even if they admit it or not - and there’s nothing like fresh ocean air or a cool swim to work up an appetite – luckily, Betty’s Burgers
and Concrete Co has plenty of mouth-watering goodness to
satisfy any holiday hunger. Step straight off the sand on Noosa’s
Main Beach, cross Hastings Street and walk up to this classic
Australian burger shack for fresh, juicy, mouth-watering burgers.

Paella in the Paddock
Cooloola Berries near the Noosa hinterland have Paella in the
Paddock on their farm every Sunday from 1pm – 4pm (book on
5486 7512). Come and pick strawberries every day between
8am and 5pm ($12 per kilo) or visit their farm gate cafe which
has packed fruit available and a full cafe menu.
The farm is located at 856 Tagigan Road, Wolvi, via Kin Kin Rd
Whale watching
Watch the amazing humpback whales on their annual migration
past Noosa with whale watching tours that take you to sea off
the Noosa National Park headland for spectacular scenery and
aquatic action.
The Noosa Whale Watching Centre offers a 2- hour whale and dolphin adventure (ph 0412 735 624);
Noosa Oceanrider (ph 0438 386 255) takes you on a leisurely charter
down the Noosa River and out to sea;
and Noosa Wave Boating Adventures (ph 0458 997 188) also has whale watching and an
amazing swim with the whales experiences.
Epic Ocean Adventures (ph 5372 8066) takes you on a 4WD tour for a
kayaking experience to Double Island Point where the whales

All aboard the Mary Valley Rattler
The Mary Valley Rattler historic train ride through the
beautiful countryside near the Noosa hinterland has a
special diesel locomotive ride this Saturday 15 August,
leaving historic Gympie Station at 1.30pm and returning at
4pm, with adults at kids’ prices – just $32 pp. There’s also
a steam train on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from
10am, and the railmotor Tasting Train on Thursday, 10am
