Esmay on the waterfront
Chef of the Year Alanna Sapwell has opened her pop-up restaurant, Esmay, on the Noosa River waterfront at the former Wasabi Restaurant and Bar site. While Wasabi has sadly closed, they're now hosting Esmay for 3 months, with Alanna (previous head chef of ARC and Saint Peter) in charge. Alanna’s cooking celebrates Queensland produce with a nostalgic twist, supporting ethical, regional food and practices, and she’ll be making the most of Wasabi’s Honeysuckle Hill Farm produce. Expect great food, warm service and a gorgeous waterfront view with a set menu. Open Wednesday to Saturday from 5pm, and on Sundays for a long lunch from noon. Book online at esmaypopup.com.au
