We promised in our last newsletter that improvements would be ongoing here at Glen Eden and I'm sure our latest development will not disappoint - especially for all of our "locals" (aka Queenslanders) who find the pool on the nippy side this time of the year...

Our pool is now HEATED ALL OF THE TIME! We have just invested in a gas heating system for our pool to supplement the solar heating already in place. We are going to stay green and use our solar as much as we can, but on those days that the sun doesn't have enough oomph, our gas heating will kick in providing our guests a beautiful water temperature year round.

Additionally, renovations to our units are ongoing with the completion of Unit 38 and Unit 12 - both fabulous 2 bedroom oceanfront units with wonderful views of the ocean and great patios that open out on to our lawn area. Book now to avoid missing out on these great townhouses.

Also, from June we will have Movies 1 and 2 free in all rooms in addition to the great Cable TV we already offer.

It's not just Glen Eden where it's happening. Our Village is positively humming with the opening of some great new eateries and boutiques. Zachary's Pizza offers both take away or dine in with a great outdoor bar to while away the afternoon. Or you can pop in to Lilydale for a great organic & free range roasted chicken, salad selection, chips and gelato icecream - tested many times by yours truly to ensure batch consistency of course! And very exciting for all those that love Thai food... Shellys Thai (also at Coolum) opened last week providing dine in or takeaway with a lovely dining area in the new village green.

It's that time again to start thinking about the school holidays. This year the Queensland School Holidays run 29th June - 14th July and Glen Eden is just perfect for that family break away.
